Laptop Batt

I'm in the process of reviving an old Sony Vaio of my dad's. We feel it's good to keep cuz it has sentimental value. It was one of the first laptop that he bought. We even have pictures of him working with it in the hotel room. You want dedication, you want commitment, this is the guy. We even tried video conferencing with him! He left the webcam on as he ate his gourmet microwave dinner. Even when he sleep he left it on, it was funny man.

Some parents would disregard this childish exploration. But he was willing to try=)

Haha, well, now i even pulled my mom into GoogleTalk! it was so cool talking to her conveniently one day as i was checking Google Mail in school. GoogleTalk is integrated into the gmail website. It's hard to explain the kind of feeling you get when you know something is simple, but it's significance is a mere one step shy of a revolutionary lifestyle.

I digressed so much! The main purpose of this post is to express my eyerolling discontent of the eBay purchase i made recently pertaining to a Sony Viao laptop battery.


Do you see the hole difference between the original (right) and the one i bought (left)? That mockingly insignificant anomaly is the cause of the imense frustration on my part.

One slight movement and the battery is disconnected. How reliable is that.. i have no idea how to fix it now. It came from san fransisco. to ship it back menas 30 friggin dollers. They haven't even got back to me on whether i'd have to pay for the return shipping.

Vent vent vent. Complain complain complian.. The echoes resonate of association with May;)
